Principles of Internal and External Cycles in Industrial Dehumidifiers
I. Internal Cycle of Dehumidifiers
Industrial Dehumidifiers Through compressor operation, high-temperature and high-pressure gas is discharged from the exhaust port and enters the condenser, where it cools into low-temperature and high-pressure gas. It then passes through a capillary tube, becoming low-temperature and low-pressure liquid, before entering the evaporator to absorb heat and evaporate, returning to the compressor as low-temperature and low-pressure gas. This process repeats in a continuous cycle.

II. External Cycle of Industrial Dehumidifiers
During normal operation, the fan draws humid air through the air inlet. As the air passes through the evaporator, moisture is adsorbed onto the aluminum fins, turning it into dry air. The dry air then dissipates heat via the condenser and is blown out through the air outlet.
- Temperature-Regulating Dehumidifiers utilize the evaporator to cool and dehumidify the air while recovering system condensation heat to compensate for heat loss during cooling and dehumidification.
This is an energy-efficient dehumidification method widely applied in defense engineering, civil air defense projects, tobacco and petrochemical industries, subway stations, aerospace cleanrooms, laboratories, telecommunication equipment rooms, archives, food storage rooms, pharmaceutical or film production workshops, special glass manufacturing, grain and wood drying, and other spaces requiring humidity control and dehumidification in high-humidity environments. - Given China’s diverse climate types, with significant winter-summer temperature differences in most regions and noticeable fluctuations in thermal/cooling/humidity loads over time, traditional dehumidification and drying systems often fail to adequately meet practical demands.
- Temperature-regulating dehumidifiers provide a method and equipment for heating, cooling, and dehumidifying indoor spaces under varying indoor and outdoor temperature conditions to meet indoor temperature and humidity requirements. This enhances the performance of dehumidification and temperature regulation systems and expands their application scope.
Principles of Industrial Dehumidifiers
- Dehumidification Capacity: Refers to the amount of moisture removed from the air in an enclosed space, room, or area per unit of time. Unit: liters per hour (L/H).
- Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER): Under rated operating conditions, the ratio of cooling capacity to effective input power when the industrial dehumidifier is operating in cooling mode. EER = Cooling Capacity / Input Power. This value evaluates dehumidifier performance—a higher ratio indicates better system matching, improved dehumidification, more effective cooling and heating, and lower power consumption.
- Rated Voltage: The power supply voltage value specified by the manufacturer for the industrial dehumidifier upon delivery, or the allowable range of power supply voltage fluctuations.
- Meaning of “Horsepower (P)”: “P” is an abbreviation for power, internationally measured in “watts.” 1P corresponds to approximately 2500W of cooling capacity.
- Noise Types: Aerodynamic noise, mechanical vibration noise, electromagnetic noise. Sources: Fan and compressor. Noise range: Approximately 50 decibels indoors, 60 decibels outdoors.
- Rated Power: The total electrical power consumed during normal operation, representing the allowable total power of the industrial dehumidifier.
