Principle of High-Frequency Drying

High-frequency wood vacuum drying equipment operates on the principle of low-temperature evaporation of moisture under vacuum conditions. By utilizing high-frequency electromagnetic heating, it rapidly dries wood from the inside out, reduces moisture content, and expands the range of wood applications.

Wood vacuum drying equipment is fully equipped with: high-frequency drying system, vacuum system, insulation system, material handling system, control system, etc.

High-frequency vacuum drying combines high-frequency dielectric heating with low-temperature vacuum drying, offering a relatively fast and low-waste drying method. It is particularly suitable for drying hardwoods and thick lumber.

Components of High-Frequency Vacuum Drying Equipment:

1)High-frequency generator (primary heating system)

2)Drying chamber (including electrode plates, wiring, or feeding tracks, etc.)

3)Vacuum system (achieves vacuum negative pressure while extracting steam)

4)Cooling system (steam generated during wood drying is cooled and condensed into water, which flows into a water storage tank; the gas is then extracted by the vacuum pump after temperature reduction)

5)Hydraulic system (ensures contact between the wood and high-frequency electrode plates and assists in wood straightening)

6)Water storage system (stores condensed water or water discharged from the chamber)

7)Control system (includes detection and control of high frequency, vacuum, temperature, humidity, and drainage)

8)Feeding system (includes external tracks and feeding carts, etc.)

High-Frequency Heating:

Also known as high-frequency dielectric heating, it involves converting a standard 380V AC power supply into a high-frequency electromagnetic field through a high-frequency generator (also called a high-frequency oscillator). The generator steps up and rectifies the voltage, then uses high-frequency electronic tubes and coils to generate the electromagnetic field. When integrated with equipment featuring anode and cathode electrode plates, high-frequency heating is achieved.
